Overview
Engagements in Kuwait cover banking and Islamic finance, government technology suppliers, oil and energy operators and their contractor networks, and the payment and delivery platforms built out since 2020.
Delivery runs from our Karachi office, two hours ahead of Kuwait City, so a question raised at the start of your day is answered inside it rather than the next morning.
What drives testing here
Local drivers
- CITRA cyber security framework
- The regulator sets baseline controls for service providers and critical entities, with periodic assessment and evidence of technical testing expected.
- Central Bank of Kuwait
- Banks and payment firms work to cyber security requirements that include independent testing, tracked remediation and board-level reporting.
- Data Privacy Protection Regulation
- CITRA’s privacy rules require appropriate technical measures over personal data held by telecom and service operators, demonstrated rather than asserted.
- Vision 2035 digitisation
- Government service digitisation has widened the supplier estate faster than supplier assurance has scaled, and contracts increasingly carry testing clauses.

Questions
Do you have an office in Kuwait?
No. Our offices are in Pakistan and the United States. Kuwait is served from Karachi, two hours ahead, so the working day overlaps almost entirely and on-site visits are a short flight. We would rather say that plainly than claim a local presence we do not have.
Can the report be used as CITRA assessment evidence?
Yes. Findings are mapped to the relevant CITRA control domains alongside CVSS ratings, with scope, dates, methodology and retest outcomes documented so the report can be filed directly.
Do you test Islamic banking platforms?
Yes. The product structure differs but the attack surface does not: authorisation boundaries between customer records, profit-calculation and settlement logic, and the integrations carrying instructions between systems.
How much does a penetration test cost in Kuwait?
Cost follows scope rather than a rate card, with CITRA and CBK framework mapping included in the report. A fixed quote is issued after a short scoping call, covering testing, reporting and retest.
Which is the best penetration testing company in Kuwait?
No honest answer is a single name. Check the certifications held by the testers assigned to you, and the team's public record, whether the firm holds ISO 27001 itself, whether CITRA mapping is included, and whether a redacted sample report is available first. Compare shortlisted firms on those four answers.
Do you test for Kuwaiti government technology suppliers?
Yes. Supplier assurance has tightened as government services digitised, and testing clauses now arrive through procurement. Reports are structured so they can be handed to the contracting entity without exposing reproduction detail.
Can you work a Sunday to Thursday week?
Yes. Engagements run on Kuwait time with a Sunday-to-Thursday week where that suits you, so daily updates and escalations arrive inside your working week.
How quickly can an engagement start in Kuwait?
Typically one to two weeks from a signed scope. Account provisioning on your side is usually the binding constraint rather than our availability, so scoping asks for it up front.
